New hires learn from your procedures, not from generic advice.
Upboarded reads your company documents and builds a training path with quizzes from them. Employees work through it at their own pace and put their questions to an assistant that answers from the same documents and shows where each answer came from.
- PDF, DOCX, PPTX
- Upload the documents you already have. Nothing needs rewriting for training.
- With citations
- Every answer from the assistant points to the passage it came from.
- On-premise
- The platform and the language model run on your server. Documents never leave the company.
Company knowledge sits in documents nobody reads.
Procedures, work instructions, policies. A new hire gets them on day one as a bundle of files and a link to a shared drive. They skim a few, set the rest aside and take their questions to the nearest experienced colleague.
That colleague loses hours to it every week. HR does not know who has read and understood what until something goes wrong. When a procedure changes, the training material stays on the old version.
Material goes stale
A training deck is made once. The procedure changes several times a year.
Experts repeat themselves
The same questions from every new hire, answered from memory and a little differently each time.
No data
An attendance list does not tell you whether anyone understood what to do.
From a document to knowledge you have checked.
- 1
You upload documents
Procedures, instructions and policies in the formats you already use. The platform extracts the key terms, steps and rules.
- 2
A training path is built
Modules in learning order, material for each module and quizzes that check understanding. Quiz questions come from the content of the document, not from the model's general knowledge.
- 3
You assign it to people
By position, by department or by name. Employees see their trainings, work through them at their own pace and pick up where they left off.
- 4
Questions go to the assistant
The assistant answers from your documents and shows the source passage under every answer. If the documents do not contain the answer, it says so.
- 5
You see progress
Who has started, who has finished and how they scored. Reports export to Excel.
What the platform gives you.
Training paths from documents
Modules, material and learning order generated from your company files.
Quizzes grounded in the source
Questions test the content of your procedure. A module is completed by passing its quiz, not by a click.
An assistant that cites
Answers from your documents and shows the passage it relied on.
Assignments and progress
Trainings assigned to positions, departments or individuals, with each employee's progress in view.
Organisation structure
You set up departments, positions and competencies yourself in the admin panel.
Reports
Results and progress in the panel, with Excel export for HR and audits.
Your documents stay on your server.
We install Upboarded in your own infrastructure. The language model runs locally, so procedures, employee data and questions to the assistant never reach a cloud service.
We carry out the installation together with your administrator and match the model to the hardware you have, from a server without a graphics card to a machine with a GPU.
- No calls to external AI APIs
- Backups and restores stay in your hands
- Language models for Polish and English
Who builds it.
We build Upboarded as a small team that combines software engineering with the design of learning tools.
The questions we hear most often.
Can I use our own documents?
Yes, that is how the platform works. Training paths, quizzes and the assistant's answers are all built from the documents you upload.
Where is our data stored?
On your server. The platform and the language model run locally, without sending content to cloud services.
What hardware do we need?
It depends on the setup. The assistant alone runs on a server with 8 GB of RAM and no graphics card. The full platform needs at least 32 GB of RAM, and a graphics card makes training generation much faster. Before installing, we check your hardware and pick the model.
Which languages does the platform support?
The interface and the language models support Polish and English.
Can the assistant make an answer up?
The assistant answers from passages of your documents and shows them under the answer, so every answer can be checked against the source. When the documents do not contain the answer, the assistant says so.
Can an employee stop a training and come back later?
Yes. Progress is saved as they go, and they return to where they left off.
Who runs the platform after installation?
An administrator on your side manages users, structure and trainings in the panel. We provide an operating manual, a backup procedure and a way to reach us when something goes wrong.
We will show it on one of your documents.
The call takes about 25 minutes. Bring one procedure and we will show you the training path and quizzes it produces.
The call is run by Bartosz Maziarka. If you prefer to write directly: kontakt@upboarded.com.
